Kara is an expert partner at Advisory Board, specializing in physician strategy and operations. In this role, she focuses on providing strategic direction and operational guidance to a wide range of physician organizations and physician leaders.

Kara holds a PhD in human physiology and master's degrees in clinical research and population health. For over a decade, she conducted clinical research focused on the intersection of women's health, obesity and metabolism, and cardiovascular disease. She also has experience working in healthcare mergers and acquisitions as well as scientific strategy for healthcare corporations.
